Our Summer Artist Showcase features three new performers supported by our house band A WALK IN THE PARK, led by troubador Sonofmel (John Adler) on Guitar, Randy Wydra on Bass, and Michael Pilhofer

This is a free concert for all. Please come give these artists a warm, Northwoods reception. You won't be disappointed!

Some of our planned artists for this event include:

Sonofmel: Our Showcase emcee. After 20 years of wandering, from Baku to Berkeley, Anchorage to Ankara, Sonofmel brings the foreign home to the familiar, piling prodigal wanderings and fistfuls of chords into spoken word, stories, and song. Sonofmel is also a volunteer board member of The Park Theater.

Jeffrey Williams returns to lend his powerful voice to the community. Jeffrey honors the gift of each poem he is given by giving it a voice that both contains a beat and a forward movement.

Isaac Pierce is a Portland, Oregon–based musician, songwriter, and producer originally from Hayward. His music has been described as spectral folk-rock, drawing comparisons to Jason Molina, Adam Green and the Eels.

Home Again Band is a local group covering the 50s to 80s songs and variety of folk music such ass Peter, Paul and Mary, John Denver, James Taylor and many more.

The vocals of Phil Warner, Stan Nosbush and Nancy Keeler will keep you entertained.
