Carol Z & Friends: “Something to Talk About” Women of story and song - Bonnie, Joni, Stevie, Carole, and more…

Carol Z and her bass-playing husband, Billy, bought a little cabin on a nearby Hayward area lake 13 years ago, and started performing as a duo at many local venues as well as Minnesota and Florida during the winter months.

Carol sings from an expansive book of musical styles that features many of the women singer songwriters that she grew up listening to, who had a big influence in developing her own unique style. You'll also enjoy several original songs that come with fun and heartfelt stories of life and love.

Come prepared to sing, laugh, and remember some of the best songs old and new!

Memories and Melodies

Members of a new Hayward-based memoir and family history writing group take to The Park Center stage for a wonderful afternoon of storytelling and music. The readings will be punctuated by songs performed by The Park Center’s very own house band A WALK IN THE PARK, featuring Sonofmel, Michael Pilhofer and Randy Wydra.

Come enjoy the stories, great music and community spirit, and perhaps gain some inspiration to begin work on your own memoir or family history.

This show is free of charge, with any donations going to support The Park Center. As always, the concession stand will be opening serving snacks, drinks and our famous Park Center popcorn!

While the show is free, we ask that you register as a ticket buyer so we can plan for attendance.
